Heady days for cycling in Britain. He won’t be reading this but huge congratulations to Bradley Wiggins and the rest of the Sky team for bringing the simple but hugely significant ‘yellow jersey’ back to these shores.
With the Olympics fast approaching, cycling is riding a huge wave like we’ve never seen before in this country. Where do we go from here? In the short term it means big turnouts for Sunday Group Rides (20 this weekend!). Looking further ahead we are committed to steadily growing the club and also firmly fixated on the closed circuit project at Odd Down playing fields (due early 2013). This is where cycling could develop to the next level in Bath.
