VC Walcot is a friendly and encouraging cycling club for any rider in the Bath area who wants to get the most out of group cycling.  We enjoy discovering new routes, taking on new challenges, eating lots of cake, and having a laugh along the way.

Come along and try us out.  Our group clubrides on Sundays and Wednesdays are the core of what we do.  Rides are always sociable and at a reasonable pace for your level of fitness and experience; if you start a ride with us you’ll finish it with us. We are always happy to meet new riders. You are welcome to come along and join us for a ride to find out what we are about.  There are groups for all abilities, starting at average 12mph, please see the Club Rides section.

Why Walcot? Our club was originally founded in Walcot, a bohemian district of Bath that attracts independent spirits. While the club has grown and now attracts riders from all over the Bath area, the Walcot character lives on in our fun, informal approach.
